We're
back....
Here
it is the new look Saira Todd Appreciation Site. It's been a
long time coming but this is what happens when life gets in
the way of things that are important.
What's
New?....
As
you'll no doubt see the entire set up of the site is different,
we've also moved it to a more secure server, the main reason
for this was to rid the site of those annoying pop-ups.
We're
also now affiliated with the academic site Sociopranos. This
means you can now register at the site and use the 'General'
Section to chat about Saira Todd!
Why
the change?....
Web
design skills have moved on since we put up the original site
a few years ago, we wanted this site to reflect that and also
be a better indication of how talented Saira Todd is!
Where
and Why it began....
This
page began as my personal appreciation of British actress Saira
Todd.
I've personally liked Saira for many years, since first seeing
her in the british series 'Capital City' which aired in Australia
on the ABC.
I instantly became a fan of Sairas through her portrayal of
the character Hilary Rollinger in the series. As I was living
in Australia at the time I really had no idea what Saira had
been in before or would be in next, so I started watching all
manner of British television in the hope she would show up.
I was lucky enough to catch 'a Fatal Inversion', 'The Bill'
and 'Bliss', all of which aired on the ABC in Australia.
Since
then I have moved to Britain myself (no don't be sick, I'm not
stalking her sheesh!) and have seen a few more shows featuring
Saira.
I think she is a brilliant actress, she has a style that even
some of the big hollywood names don't have. It's for this reason
that I have set up this fan page, I know I can't be the only
Saira Todd fan out there, so this page is for you... her fans...
and to let Saira Todd herself know we appreciate her talent.
