Detective Debbies Guinterpol - Guin News From Debbie

Guin Turner . com is proud to introduce to you our new section 'Guinterpol'. Ok for those of you not living in Europe and flooded by shows about the FBI and CIA 'Interpol' is the international policing organisation, they track down lot's of people / things that are difficult to find, thus the name of this new section. Our own Detective Debbie has made many brilliant contributions to the site and this is where she get's to have her say and report on the many Guin Sightings, Guin meetings and of course give her own view as someone who seems to have unending Guin knowledge.... so... without further ado we hand you over to Debbie.......

INTRODUCTION:

Hi, I’m Debbie and I’ve been a fan of Guinevere’s since Go fish, I think Guin is so adorable as Max, and I love how it doesn’t matter how many times I watch that film I can’t help but feel happy after seeing that film.

That is basically why I admire Guinevere so much, because she is such a positive role model and how she has continued to be so ever since is an inspiration.

I love that she has such a happy- go- lucky approach to things, fans can feel this from her style of writing, to the type of roles she has taken, to interviews.

I still cannot believe that so many people have not heard of her. More people need to know about her that is one of the main reasons why I have decided to contribute to this site. Plus I know that all the other die-hard fans of Guin, would want to know anything Guin related!

I really liked this little article on Guin at the philly film fest, because of her quote!

aken from gay city news, August 12 - 18, 2004.
Lesbian writer/director GUINEVERE TURNER was also bestowed with an Artistic Achievement Award. A lesbian icon since "Go Fish," Turner's recent projects include writing HBO's "The Ballad of Bettie Page" starring GRETCHEN MOL, and
"Bloodrayne," a horror film based on a videogame series, a monster movie with her "Stray Dogs" director CATHERINE CROUCH, and writing and acting on "The L-Word." The always delightful, good-humored Turner admitted that she originally hoped to star in longtime passion project "Bettie Page," but abstained from dishing too much about "L-Word."

"If I say something it always somehow ends up on the Internet!" she said.
