Gretchen Mol as Bettie Page
on the set of the upcoming HBO bio-flick The Notorious
Bettie Page. Mol
is sporting a "pre-bangs" Bettie hairstyle,
consistent with the early stage of Bettie's career
in New York City. It will be interesting to see Gretchen
adopting the trademark black Bettie Page bangs for
the rest of the film.
We at Guin Turner .com hope that Guinevere Turner
will at least be making a cameo appearance in this
film given the years she has put into the project.
As most of you know Guin looks very much like the
screen siren Bettie Page even modelling as her in
various photoshoots over the years since the Ballad
of Bettie Page project began inception. |

Turner recently commented about the Bettie Page project
whilst at the Philadelphia Gay and
Lesbian Film Festival stating she did not wish the pressure
of a big budget movie on her shoulders but was positive
and excited about the project.
